Ava Nell Smith, 80 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Heartford House in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was born Thursday, July 16, 1936 in Browder, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Roy Crafton and the late Nonie Pogue Crafton. She was the wife of the late Noble Smith. She was employed by Red Kap. Surviving are son, Mitchell Wayne Smith of Louisville, KY, daughter, Carolyn Jean Sitz of Hopkinsville, KY; 3 grand children, Janice Marie Manning of Lewisburg, KY, Raven Nichole Sitz, and Megan Elizabeth Sitz, both of Russellville, KY; 6 great grand children, Gabriel Sitz, Michael Sitz, Hayley Sitz, Aidan Duncan, Sumer Ward, and Jayden Bailey, all of Russellville, KY. She was predeceased by daughter, Janice Marie Smith. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Wileys Chapel Cemetery located at Hwy 107 Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Bro.
