Audley Edward Wood

Mr. Audley Edward Wood, age 59, of Lewisburg, Ky., died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at his residence in Lewisburg, Ky. Mr. Wood was employed by Southern Glass in Nashville, Tn and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was also a member of Lewisburg Masonic Lodge 324 F&AM and the Shriners. These are the Lodge's rights, societies and organizations he was a member of: Master Mason of Lewisburg Lodge 324 F&AM, of which he was a Past Master in 2000. Chapter #8 RAM of which he was Past High Priest from 2002-2005. Council #102 R&SM of which he was an Illustrous Master from 2003-2005 in Russellville, Ky. He was also Past Commander of the Knight's Templar Commandary #44 of Franklin, Ky.. Other honorary societies include the York Rite Bodies of Free Masonry, the Knight's of the York Cross of Honour and the Kentucke Council #71 Knight Mason's of the United States of America, the Scottish Rite Mason of the Valley of Madisonville, Ky., the Logan County Shrine Club, and a charter member of the Rizpah Loonies, both of which he was a past President. He was 2005 Shriner of the Year for the Rizpah Shrine Center of Madisonville, KY.. He was the son of the late Walter Wood and the late Ruby (Atchinson) Wood. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Vera Ellen (Blackford) Wood; Three Daughters, Mrs. Maria (Wood) Lawson of Russellville, Ky. Mrs. Tracey (Wood) Shifflett of Russellville, Ky. Ms. Jessica Wood of Russellville, Ky. One Son, Mr. Jason Wood of Russellville, Ky. Four Sisters, Mrs. Kaye Chapman of Indiana Mrs. Tinkie Curtis of Franklin, Tenn. Mrs. Sherry Wheeler of Inka, Miss. Mrs. Virginia Cantrell of La. One Brother, Mr. Rodney Wood of Russellville, Ky. Seven grandchildren Memorial Contributions may be made in the form of donations to the Lewisburg Masonic Lodge or the Shriners Hospital in Lexington, Ky. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2006. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2006. Funeral service will be at Price Funeral Home Inc. at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 8, 2006 . Bro. Jeff Noffsinger officiating.
