Anita Jo Whittaker

Anita Jo Whittaker, 78 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Friday, December 26, 2014, at the Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born Monday, January 27, 1936 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Rhea Harris and the late Flora Johnson Harris. She was the wife of Lee Roy Whittaker ofr Lewisburg, who survives. She was a retired book keeper with the Vanderbilt Credit Union and a member of Beechland Baptist Church. Also surviving are son, Roy Lee Whittaker -(Brenda) of Lewisburg, KY, brothers, Nolvis Harris of Lewisburg, KY and Thurman Harris of Madisonville, KY, sister, Mildred Gibbs of Tahlequah, OK; 1 grand child; Paige Whittaker of Lewisburg, KY and 1 step grand child; Heather Johnson of Lewisburg, KY and 1 step great grand child; Jenny Johnson of Lewisburg. She was predeceased by sister, Louvernia Penuel. A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Beechland Baptist Church located at 3500 Beechland Rd Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Thurman Harris, Rev. Gene Vincent and Rev. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in Beechland Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2014, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
