Alvin Ray Coursey

Alvin Ray Coursey, 78 of Evansville, Indiana died on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at his residence in Evansville, Indiana. He was born Sunday, August 21, 1938 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Noble Coursey and the late Elaine Pogue Coursey. He was the husband of the late Marie Joines Coursey, to whom he was married for 56 years. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He was also employed by Quadco for 14 years. Prior to that he was employed by Unclaimed Freight Store for 36 years Surviving are son, Gary Coursey - (Pam) of Evansville, IN; 2 grand children, Craig Coursey and Kayla Schutz - (Matthew), both of Evansville; other extended family. He loved his family, going to church, working his job, and hanging out with his McDonald's friends. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Wileys Chapel Methodist Church with the Pastor Danny Risinger officiating. Interment will be in Wileys Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
