Alvin Dempsey Spivey

Alvin Dempsey Spivey, 77 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born Saturday, April 6, 1940 in Russellville, Kentucky, the son of the late Glenn Spivey and the late Vernie Cockreil Spivey. He was the husband of the late Carolyn Baugh Spivey. He was a farmer. Surviving are sons, John Spivey -(Cindy) of Lewisburg, KY and Phillip Spivey -(Laura) of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Melissa Miller -(Charles) of Chandlers Chapel, KY, brothers, Jerry Spivey of Russellville, KY and Delmer Spivey of Russellville, KY, sisters, Mae Holder of Franklin, KY, Allie White of Russellville, KY and Merrena Hyams of Russellville, KY; 5 grand children; 2 great grand children. A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Lewisburg Cemetery with the Rev. Kenny Chyle officiating.
