Alvin "Buck" Lee Buchanan

Alvin "Buck" Lee Buchanan, 47 of Dunmor, Kentucky died on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at his home in Dunmor, Kentucky. He was born Wednesday, May 2, 1973 in Russellville, Kentucky, the son of the late William Buchanan and the late Naomi Smith Saddler. He was the husband of Donna James Buchanan, who survives. Alvin was an avid motorcycle rider who loved his family. He was an honest man who made it a point to do right by others. Also surviving are sons, Samuel Buchanan of Greenville, KY, Dylan Buchanan of Greenville, KY and Seth Buchanan of Greenville, KY; daughters, Shelby Wells - (Noah) of Ellsworth Afb, SD and Caroline Buchanan of Greenville, KY; half brother, Thomas Long of St. Louis, MO. Alvin was also an expectant grandfather, with his first grandchild due in October of this year. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Al Skinner officiating. Interment will be in Saddler-Buchanan Family Cemetery, Dunmor, KY. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday, April 2, 2021, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky. Due to current mandates set forth by the Governor of Kentucky, there is an occupancy limit of 75 inside the funeral home facility, not including funeral home staff or officiating clergy. It is also required that a mask be correctly worn at all times while inside the facility.
