Alma Jewel Dorris, 83 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born on Wednesday, May 11, 1927 in Greenville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Simon Coe and the late Zena McPherson Coe. She was the wife of Charles Theron Dorris who survives. She was a retired Nurses Aide with the Nursing Home and also Home Health. She was a member of Hillcrest Church Of Christ. Surviving are sons, Gary Dorris of Lewisburg, KY and Thomas Dorris of Dunmor, KY, daughters, Gail Wilson of Dunmor, KY and Paula Dorris of Evansville, IN; 6 grand children; 10 great grand children and 3 great great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 7, 2011 at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky with Mr. Mike Green and Mr. Chris Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Martin Cemetery, Logan Co., KY. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
