Alexander "A.C." C. Nuckols

Alexander "A.C." Nuckols, 87 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at his residence. He was born Saturday, April 6, 1929 in Beechcreek, Kentucky, the son of the late Issac Nuckols and the late Ida Powell Reeves. He was the husband of the late Rachel Whitescarver Nuckols. He was a retired drawbridge tender with L & N Railroad. He was a member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are step-daughter, Connie Nash of Memphis, TN; step-son, Bill Porter of Franklin, KY; step-grandchildren, Cheryl Nash Arnoult and Randy Nash both of Memphis, TN and Chuck Porter of Franklin, KY; and sisters, Dorothy Cowherd of Russellville, KY and Eula M. Nuckols of Alvaton, KY. He was also predeceased by brothers, Francis Marion Nuckols, Charles Odis Nuckols, Audie Eugene Nuckols and Robert Nuckols. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Bobby Ward officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
