Aldwin (Jam Up) Keith Lyons

Aldwin Keith "Jam Up" Lyons, 89 of Stacker St. Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at his residence. He was born Saturday, December 6, 1919 in Logan Co., Kentucky, the son of the late Carl Lyons and the late Essie Fleming Lyons. He was the husband of Dorothy Pogue Lyons of Lewisburg, who survives. He was was self employed painter and body shop worker. He served in the Army from 1942 until 1945. He was a Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Life Temple Pentecostal Church. Surviving are daughters, Sheila Pierson of Lewisburg, KY and Elaine Duncan of Lewisburg, KY, brother, Kenneth Lyons of Danville, IL, sisters, Magdeline White of Lewisburg, KY, Faye Shelton and Deltha Pogue of Lansing, IL; 4 grand children; 7 great grand children. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Bro. Dan Stratton and Bro. Gene Bagby officiating. Interment will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
