Charles Wilbur Shelton

Charles Wilbur Shelton, 79 of the Spa Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at the Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Kentucky. He was born Tuesday, September 3, 1929 in Logan Co., Kentucky, and was the son of the late Charlie "Butch" Shelton and the late Margaret (Isabelle) Shelton. He was the husband of Eva Whitt Shelton, who survives. He was a musician, retired from Tennessee Building Supply and a member of Life Temple Pentecostal Church, in Lewisburg. Surviving are son, Gary Shelton of Niles, MI; step-daughters, Linda Sue Johns and Carol Lynn Turner, both of Indianapolis, IN and step-son, Mike Howard of Indianapolis, IN., 3 grand children; 4 great grand children. He was predeceased by daughter, Anita Shelton and first wife, Dorothy. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Bro. Dan Stratton and Bro. Jimmy Dukes officiating. Interment will be in Berea Christian Church Cemetery, 188 Berea Church Rd. Russellville, KY.
